The blog name 'Kate Tin' comes from a silly nickname I was given by friends and colleagues who thought it was terribly clever to play on my name, Katelyn. So, if you're okay with me throwing words like 'om nom nom' into my recipe posts and convincing you that it's okay to put Nutella, salted caramel, shortbread and chocolate all in one cake, then we'll get along just fine and I'll be quite okay with you calling me Kate!
